The Merry Wives of Windsor

It’s 1968 in Windsor, Ontario, and English ex-pat Sir John Falstaff is hunting for a romantic solution to his money troubles. He sends an identical love letter to two wealthy housewives, hoping to seduce them – and enjoy their fortunes – but he has no clue they are best friends. Once the two discover his scheme, these merry wives set Falstaff up for some hilariously sweet revenge.

This Jessie Award winning production was first staged in the Douglas Campbell Theatre. This season it’s bigger and even better on the BMO Mainstage, bringing back the high-spirited fun and classic ’60s country music that made it such a hit with audiences and critics alike.
